Process optimization was the main reason for developing an electronical, web-based procurement portal for meetings and events. You have…


  • At least two years of full time development or IT infrastructure experience
  • Strong desire to develop his/her professional skills
  • Experience in administering and monitoring Linux based servers
  • Experience in developing automation scripts
  • Very good knowledge of English, Knowledge of German desireable


    What you´ll do…


  • Conception, optimization and implementation of new and existing functions
  • Conduction problem analyses
  • Technical risk management in coordination with the project managers
  • Fixing bugs/errors in the software
  • Creation of automated tests for quality assurance
  • Documentation of software architecture
  • Ensuring knowledge transfer within the team
  • Execution of Code Reviews


    Technical skills:


  • Professional experience as software developer and experience in development of web-based applications as well as in TDD
  • Experience with Scrum or similar agile methods
  • Intrinsic motivation to write readable and maintainable code
  • Good knowledge of software development in Ruby On Rails or similar frameworks
  • Good knowledge of software architecture, in particular OOP
  • Very good knowledge of written and spoken English
  • Experience with Unix systems
  • Good knowledge of the event and hotel industry would be desirable


    Personal skills:

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret statistical data
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
