Lomography has its headquarters in Vienna, Austria but we also have subsidiaries across the globe; from New York to Tokyo, Paris to Hong Kong. Our website,, is one of the biggest online photo communities in the world and currently features almost 9 million analogue photographs. The full range of Lomography products is sold online and through independent retailers, as well as in our own Gallery Stores, which are currently located in over 13 countries.

Lomography is looking for full-time Ruby on Rails developers to join our team in Vienna, Austria. Lomography?s development team consists of four developers and two designers ? we are small, but take care of a huge site (2,500,000 monthly visits, 9,000,000 online photos, a magazine of 40,000 articles, ? ? all in 15 languages). We expect you to be an integral part of this team and help us developing, maintaining and optimizing our site with your experience. Therefore we are looking for someone who likes to (re)write clean codes likes to be part of a team and who is interested in photography.

  • Experience with Ruby on Rails (or any similar framework)
  • Basic knowledge of JavaScript and HTML/CSS
  • Experience with database (especially PostgreSQL and MongoDB)

  • Experience with NodeJS and Sinatra
  • Administration of Unix Servers
  • Worked with Git
  • Worked on heavy traffic sites
