Now we are seeking for a
SOFTWARE INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER
Job location: Berlin or Attenkirchen (Bavaria)

You have…

  • At least two years of full time development or IT infrastructure experience
  • Strong desire to develop his/her professional skills
  • Experience in administering and monitoring Linux based servers
  • Experience in developing automation
  • Very good knowledge of English, German speakers preferred

  • What you’ll do…
  • Implementation of our monitoring system
  • Primarily focused on the systems availability and performance
  • Secondarily extended to monitoring our manual processes in the IT and other departments
  • Ensuring availability and performance of our applications
  • Continous improvement of the reliability of our applications and internal tools

  • Technical skills:
  • Very good knowledge of OO-Programming concepts
  • Very good knowledge of a dynamic programming language, such as Python or Ruby
  • Good knowledge of relational and non-relational databases
  • Knowledge of server monitoring systems, such as Sensu (preferred), Nagios or similar
  • Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools, for example using Jenkins
  • Knowledge of configuration management systems, such as Ansible (preferred), Chef or similar

  • Personal skills:

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret statistical data
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
